將書中完整的句子寫下來









寫詞性,許多英文單字有很多不同的詞性
例如: fool
Ex. You are a fool. (名詞)
Don't fool (動詞) yourself.
在這裡,寫上你所挑選的句子中,這個單字扮演的詞性

同樣的,不要把所有的解釋都抄下來,只寫針對書中你所挑選的句子裡,這個單字的解釋

Oxford Advanced American Dictionary


如果OAAD找不到相關解釋或例句,找其他字典,如果是其他字典,註明出自何處,不要自己造句,因為你的句子很可能是錯的

如果能找到二三五好友組成一個讀書會,一起看原文小說學英文,會是激勵自己最好的方法之一,譬如這個Vocabulary Chart, 因為每個人不懂的單字不同,如果有五個人一起看小說,就會有五份不同的Vocabulary Chart, 等於其他四個人幫你做了extra 的功課,大家可以約定每星期聚會一次,每次輪流出單字題目考其他四個人.
(當然每個人都要將自己的Vocabulary Chart多印四份給其他人,下次聚會時考五份的單字) (單字必須限於手中的Vocabulary Chart,不可超出範圍,題目必須是從字典or書中or可靠的網路資訊中取得,以免誤導其他人)


這樣可提升自己的字彙能力,如果想讓這讀書會有更大的功能,這一篇我以前寫的讀書會的文章或許可得到一些靈感

我不介意任何人使用我的講義(當然,如果你能讓我知道的話,我會很高興)
事實上,如果你可以假裝自己是老師,假裝這份講義是你自己寫的而幫其他人上課的話,也是一個強迫自己學習的好方法,我發現自己當老師的時候,學到的比當學生的時候多
